Maine Drilling & Blasting provides drilling and rock blasting services, including rock anchors, for an array of ski industry needs, and we’ve been the drilling and blasting contractor of choice for projects at many Mountains in the Northeast. • Our typical rock cuts run from 2 to 35 feet, and we can accommodate holes for snow guns and fence posts up to 10 inches in diameter.
• We have the resources to meet demanding production schedules, including local crews.
• Among drilling companies, Maine Drilling & Blasting drill operators are the remote access/extreme terrain specialists. Winch work is often the norm for our fleet of self-contained, hydraulic drills.
• Our Engineering Department, in a team-based approach, can assist in on-site technical support for trail development.
• With use of GPS and CAD technology, our professionals can collaborate with a ski resort to help save snow costs by offering suggested modifications to existing terrain that can improve snowmaking efficiency while maintaining the character of the trails.
